Gillian Crossan
Principal, Deloitte
Gillian is a Principal in Risk & Financial Advisory at Deloitte. She serves as the Global Leader for Deloitte’s relationship with Amazon. Gillian started her career as a production technologist in the pharmaceutical industry and joined Deloitte 25 years a go working in Deloitte Consulting in the UK and US across the energy, healthcare, consumer products and technology industries. Gillian brings that cross industry and consultative style to her clients and enjoys working with organizations that are not just transforming themselves but are transforming our world.
Gillian is a regular contributor to Deloitte’s thinking on how to best serve digital platform companies that are transforming the global technology industry through innovation, In leading Amazon, she focusses on the 360-degree aspects of this relationship – sell to, buy from, sell with and create with – including Deloitte’s global alliance with Amazon Web Services where we help our clients transform their business leveraging the cloud and leverage the cloud ourselves to fuel innovation at Deloitte in how we serve our clients.
Passionate about Inclusion, Gillian leads People and Purpose for the Deloitte global Telecom, Media and Technology Industry team. She is also a member of the US Inclusion leadership team, working with Deloitte’s Chief Inclusion Officer and leads Inclusion Councils nationally with the goal of helping our people across the 80 US offices connect, belong and grow.
Gillian is one of the original architects of the OnBoarding Women program and although proud of how far we have come, is eager to do more to get to gender parity on corporate boards.
In the community, Gillian is completing her term as Board Chair for the Women’s Funding Alliance, an organization focused on economic development and leadership opportunities for women and girls in the state of Washington.
Gillian has a BA in Information Science from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and lives in Seattle with her husband and daughter.
